Psalm 19:1-4a
“The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world.”
This psalm is a hymn of praise, likely written by David, celebrating God's revelation in two ways: first, through the natural world (verses 1-6), and then through his moral law (verses 7-14). This opening section focuses on how the cosmos itself communicates divine truth.
