1 Corinthians 4:19
“But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills; and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.”
The Apostle Paul is writing to the Corinthian church, which he founded. He is addressing various issues, including divisions and arrogance among some members. Here, he expresses his intention to visit them, but qualifies it with an acknowledgment of God's ultimate sovereignty.
