Psalm 133:1-3
“See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down on the collar of his robes; like the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the mountains of Zion: for there Yahweh commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.”
This is a short psalm, one of fifteen 'Songs of Ascents' (Psalms 120-134), which pilgrims sang as they traveled to Jerusalem for religious festivals. It celebrates the joy and benefit of people coming together in harmony, drawing vivid comparisons from the natural world and religious practice.
