Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
This passage comes from the prophet Isaiah, writing to the people of Judah during a time of exile and uncertainty, around the 8th to 6th centuries BCE. Here, God speaks through Isaiah, offering comfort and calling the people to return to him, assuring them of his wisdom and faithfulness even when their circumstances seem dire.
