Psalm 19:1-4
“The heavens declare the glory of God. The firmament shows his handiwork. Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun.”
This psalm, traditionally attributed to King David, celebrates the glory of God revealed in two ways: first in creation (verses 1-6) and then in his law (verses 7-14). This opening section focuses on the natural world as a constant, universal testament to God's existence and character.
