Luke 10:27
“He answered, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.'”
This verse comes from a conversation where a lawyer asks Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus responds by asking the lawyer what the Law says, and the lawyer accurately summarizes the core commands from the Hebrew scriptures (Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18).
