Isaiah 40:31
“But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.”
The prophet Isaiah delivered these words to the people of Judah, who were facing a time of immense national crisis and exile to Babylon. In this particular section, known as Second Isaiah, the prophet offers comfort and hope, reminding them of God's incomparable power and faithfulness, even when their own strength and prospects seem to have vanished.
