Psalm 19:1-4
“The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. Day after day pours out speech, and night after night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language. Their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun.”
This psalm, traditionally attributed to David, is a hymn of praise to God, celebrated for two primary ways he reveals himself: through the natural world (verses 1-6) and through his law or instruction (verses 7-11). This opening section focuses on the awe-inspiring grandeur of creation itself as a form of divine communication.
