Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Paul wrote this letter to the churches in Galatia, likely in the mid-1st century CE. He was addressing a crisis where some teachers were insisting that Gentile (non-Jewish) Christians needed to follow Jewish law, like circumcision, to be truly part of God's people. This verse comes in a section where Paul argues that faith in Christ, not adherence to the law or social distinctions, is what defines membership in God's family.
