Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to Christian communities in Galatia (modern-day Turkey) around the middle of the first century CE. He was addressing a debate about whether non-Jewish followers of Jesus needed to adopt Jewish customs, like circumcision, to be part of God's people. Paul argues that faith in Jesus, not ethnic or social distinctions, is what unites believers.
