Psalm 19:1-4
“The heavens declare the glory of God. The firmament shows his handiwork. Day after day pours forth speech, and night after night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language. Their voice is not heard. Their message goes out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,”
This psalm, traditionally attributed to King David, celebrates how the natural world speaks of a divine creator, followed by the perfect instruction found in God's law. It moves from the vastness of the cosmos to the intimacy of personal guidance.
