Leviticus 19:33-34
““‘If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’”
This passage is from the book of Leviticus, part of the instructions given by God to Moses for the people of Israel after their liberation from slavery in Egypt. It's a foundational text for the newly formed nation, outlining laws for how they should live together, worship, and interact with others, including those who are not ethnically Israelite.
