Philippians 2:3-4
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or from a need to receive glory, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
The Apostle Paul wrote this letter from prison to the church in Philippi, a Roman colony. He was encouraging them to live out their faith in unity and humility, modelling their lives after Jesus.
What does it mean to pursue something with passion and dedication without falling into selfish ambition?
