Deuteronomy 6:6-9
“These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house, and on your gates.”
This passage is from Moses' final address to the Israelites before they enter the promised land. He is reminding them, on behalf of God, of the foundational commands they received at Mount Sinai, urging them to remember and teach these instructions to future generations.
