Genesis 1:28
“God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.””
This verse is part of the first creation account in the Bible, found in Genesis, the opening book. It describes God's creation of the world and humanity on the sixth day, immediately after creating male and female in God's own image, giving them a blessing and an instruction for how to relate to the newly formed world.
