2 Corinthians 12:9
“He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.”
This verse is part of Paul's letter to the church in Corinth, written around 55-57 AD. Paul is defending his apostolic authority and sharing a very personal experience about a persistent, unspecified difficulty he calls a 'thorn in the flesh,' and how he learned to see it through God's perspective.
