Romans 12:4-5
“For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another.”
Paul is writing to the Christians in Rome, a diverse community in the capital of the Roman Empire, about how they should live out their faith together. In this section, he uses the image of a body to explain how individual believers fit into the larger community.
