Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
Paul, an early Christian leader, wrote this letter to several churches in the Roman province of Galatia (modern-day Turkey). He was addressing significant tensions and disagreements within these communities, particularly over whether non-Jewish followers of Jesus needed to adopt Jewish customs, like circumcision, to be considered full members of the new faith.
