Matthew 6:3-4
“But when you give alms, don't let your left hand know what your right hand does, so that your charitable giving may be in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
This passage is part of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, found in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus is teaching his followers about true righteousness, contrasting outward displays of piety with sincere, humble devotion to God, whether in giving, praying, or fasting.
